Stickers from Roblox is an iMessage sticker app that turns your in-game Roblox avatar expressions into native iMessage stickers. This page explains what data the app handles and why.
What we collect
- Your Roblox identity. When you tap
“Sign in with Roblox”, Roblox sends us your
userId,username,displayName, and avatar thumbnail URL. We use these solely to (a) greet you in the app, and (b) look up the sticker packs you have already created in the companion Roblox experience. - Your sticker pack metadata and images. The app reads sticker packs you have already saved to Roblox’s DataStore via the companion experience. We fetch these on your behalf so they appear inside iMessage. We do not modify or republish them.
What we do NOT collect
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting SDKs.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No contacts, photo library, location, or microphone access.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
Where data is stored
- On your device. Your Roblox access tokens are stored in iOS Keychain. Your downloaded sticker images and identity profile are stored in the app’s private App Group container. Both are deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app.
- On our server. No per-user data is persisted server-side. The Cloudflare Worker that backs this app is a stateless proxy: it validates your Roblox token, fetches your packs from Roblox’s DataStore on each request, and returns them. We do not log identifiable request data beyond standard Cloudflare access logs (kept for at most 30 days).
Third parties
The app communicates with two third parties:
- Roblox — for sign-in (OAuth 2.0) and to read sticker pack data you have already saved there. See Roblox’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — the Worker that hosts our backend runs on Cloudflare’s global network. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
We do not sell or share your data with any other third party.
Your rights
You can revoke the app’s access to your Roblox account at any time from your Roblox account settings. Signing out of the app clears all local data and tokens.
